What is this?
Let me first introduce myself, my name is Marc Morrison and I live and breathe Video Games. I have been working in the Video Game Industry for nearly 10 years now.
I don't have many complaints about the industry, other than one glaring one. We don't give nearly enough attention to the Females that are part of this great landscape.
I want to do my part to try to change that, in at least a small way. I am here on Kickstarter to ask for your help in making the - Women of Gaming 2015 Calendar.
This calendar will be a showcase, that will show off 12 successful women that are currently heavily involved in the Video Game Industry. These women will be from all parts of the industry, Pro Competitive Gamers, Cosplay Legends, Programmers, Journalists, etc, etc.
Not only will this calendar have beautiful photography, it will also list and showcase these ladies great accomplishments in the industry.
The calendar will not only include the normal holidays and such that most standard calendars have, it will also highlight dates for major gaming tournaments, conventions and gaming related events.
We aim to make this calender an absolute MUST HAVE for every gamer.
Why Kickstarter?
We have come to Kickstarter because we feel this is the best way to make this dream a reality. Kickstarter has a great community of gamers and we feel as though gamers will embrace what we are trying to make and will help us with the needed resources to make this happen.
This project will be expensive to make a reality, but we have put together a good chunk of what we need, and we are asking for only the bit we need to get this going full steam ahead.
Who is going to be in this thing?
The answer to that question is going to be answered throughout this Kickstarter Campaign. We plan on unveiling 1 Woman at a time, every 2 to 3 days in this Campaign.
