Nintendo NES 'Block Out' Prototype ROM Released (http://www.retrocollect.com/News/nintendo-nes-block-out-prototype-rom-released.html) http://www.retrocollect.com/images/plg_imagesized/1554-block-out-nintendo-nes-prototype.jpg (http://www.retrocollect.com/images/stories/Block-Out-Nintendo-NES-Prototype.jpg)

Nearly two years ago one incredibly lucky Reddit user stumbled upon a prototype cartridge of an unreleased Nintendo NES game in Goodwill (http://www.reddit.com/r/gamecollecting/comments/kqh7b/rgamecollecting_what_have_i_found/). After passing through several hands, this unfinished and unreleased copy of Block Out - a three-dimensional take on Tetris - has finally made its way online as a downloadable Nintendo NES ROM.

As expected, this relic of a bygone and unforeseen chapter in our retro gaming past arrives courtesy of The Lost Levels (http://www.lostlevels.org/block-out/) - a website devoted to documenting and releasing unfinished, unreleased and unobtainable retro games. The team behind The Lost Levels recently hooked up with Block Out's current owner, Steve Lin (who paid a massive $2,000 to secure this title), to look towards generously preserving this prototype for all to enjoy.
The results of their combined efforts are well worth your time, as Block Out is quite the puzzler to play - despite being almost identical to its release on countless other platforms. With a whole new dimension to your block spinning and dropping gameplay, Block Out will have you pulling your hair out whilst trying to line up all of the forty one different game pieces.

Por si no saben inglés, se consiguió y salió en ROM el prototipo del Block Out de NES, un juego puzzle tridimensional que salió en Genesis por ejemplo y se suspendió en su momento.
