Tambien conocido como Quake III On Doom, Hunter's Moon es un mod para Zandronum o GZDoom que básicamente sería la campaña singleplayer que Quake 3 Arena nunca tuvo.

Historia:

Millennia ago the Vadrigars has constructed a Temple to connect their Arenas, other planetary Systems, Galaxies, Universes and even Hell.

Being the unique proof of the existence of multiverse, after Vadrigars has disappeared, the Temple is the most powerfull thing to conquest anything in the path of who uses it.

In the past, after Vadrigars discovered that their technology isn't completely controllable, the Temple has builded a Gate to connect Hell, and there they got a war against the Demons, the Vadrigars almost didn't had chance to stop them, but a Demon that have envy of Lucifer, told to Vadrigars how to stop it, then they sealed magically the Hellgate, and maked this demon the guardian of the gate, preventing The First Demon uses it, but that wasn't sufficient.

That Guardian was banned from the Temple after Lucifer has found a way to send his armies to our dimension using another portal that connects indirectly in Hell, only his army can pass, he itself and his generals can only pass to our plan by crossing the Hellgate, that is sealed.

Considering the fact of Vadrigars always choose some kind life to keep the order in the Temple, there is someone in some universe that knows the words to break the seal of Hellgate, and going universe after universe, Hell armies invade and conquest anything that the portals of the temple connects, searching for this words.

A Interstelar Crusader Ship saw this strange event in the Temple and alerted everyone in the Galaxy, now every alien kind solved their differences temporaly to go in the Temple and seal all possible Gates that can be used to connect Hell indirectly, but first they need go Universe after Universe to clean up the dirt that hell armies did on each Universe.

One thing that they doesn't know about, is the magic of auto-build of the Temple, every Universe that is created, the Temple builds automatically a room with many Gates to it.


What is the Versus Coop Mode?

Basically, if you played Master of Puppets you know 80% of this new mode, but on Hunter's Moon, instead of you play as a Ghost that need possess monsters that is already placed in map, you spawn as one randomly, like in Left 4 Dead Versus-Mode, due the spawn being forced when you want, the monsters is separated in two kinds, smaller and big ones, by pressing normal Fire button, you will spawn always as a monster that fits in normal places for players such as Imp, Pinky, Revenant, Cacodemon..., preventing stuck when spawn, it will only stuck if you are too near a wall, pressing the Alternative Fire button, makes you spawn as large monsters, Mancubus, Bruiser, Hellknight, Baron of Hell, but this is not granted that you will not stuck, since choosing the Big monster gives you a chance of spawn as a Cyberdemon or Asmodeus.

If in anyway you got stuck, typing kill on console will be the only way to get out of this.

Zandronum (se puede usar GZDoom tambien, pero asegurense que es la version OpenGL)

Copian el archivo .pk3 adentro de la carpeta del GZDoom o Zandronum, y ademas tienen que tener un wad de Doom, se puede usar Freedoom, que tambien va en esa carpeta.

Algunos tips:

Before play, be sure of the specified things below:

1 - The OpenGL Renderer must be on, otherwise the mod will not work, and will appear very very buggy.
2 - In Open GL settings, be sure of "Adjust Sprite Clipping" on "Always" option.
3 - Still in Open GL settings, be sure of the "Light Mode" is set to "Dark" and "Ambient Light Level" in 1, the mod have flashlight in weapons.
4 - In Sound Settings, be sure of the channel limit is set to 256, higher values than this is better. (being overridden using snd_channels in console)
5 - Try play with the "Autoaim" option in "Player Settings" on "Never", this prevents weapons from hit a dead body instead of a monster that you are looking at.
6 - First time playing? so, go to Controls Menu and configure the new controls.
7 - Load Add-ons after the mod otherwise it will not work properly
