Metal Gear Fan Remake con la bendición de Konami

Konami le dio el visto bueno a un grupo de fans que se hacen llamar "The Outer Heaven" team que se han puesto como meta hacer un remake del clasico de MSX2, Metal Gear, desde cero y con los standards actuales.

Normalmente este tipo de proyectos son aplastados ni bien ganan un poco de fama, pero Konami a sorprendido al dar su Ok para el mismo, bajo la promesa de que estos no lucren con el mismo.

“The game will be a full remake of the original game, new script, new models, the works. The theme compositions will also be revamped with orchestral arrangements and with the Metal Gear Solid 2 style electronic beats. The style of the game will be reworked, bringing it more up-to-date with the other games in the series, we’re still undecided on some aspects, like what style to have the camera angles, birdseye view or the more traditional Metal Gear Solid/Metal Gear Solid 2 style.”
“It’s excellent that a company that huge, would let us do such a thing, we’re very grateful. We received something else too, but for now I cannot disclose, lets just say great GREAT things are happening, and we’re very grateful to everyone involved.”

Hoy en dia es darse maña y tiempo, por ejemplo, con UDK y Unreal Script se puede sacar un juego adelante sin poner un mango.


Hay que ver que sale, lo espero con ansias.

La única manera para que unos cuantos puedan digerir las versiones de NES (incluyendome a mi); ojalá lleguen a buen puerto

Ojo que la version de NES no es la original, y ni siquiera esta con el visto bueno de Kojima por lo poronga que es... la de MSX es totalmente distinta.
